  Hey CAPA Community!

  We’re hosting a Free Pickleball Week at The Forge Sports Center from October 26th through October 30th, and we’d love for you to come play on our courts!

  Here is what’s happening all week long:

  • Free Open Play: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Free Pickleball Clinics: Skill-building sessions

  • Friday Coffee & Pastries: Wrap up the week on Friday morning with complimentary coffee and fresh local pastries during open play!

  Everything is 100% free, but space is limited so pre-registration is required to secure your spot.

• Learn to Officiate with USA Pickleball Registered Referee Trainer Steve Surprenant!

  Join us on December 12 at Pickleball Kingdom for a special pickleball officiating training event led

  by USA Pickleball Registered Referee Trainer Steve Surprenant.

  Sign-up will be through Playtime Schedule, opening on November 12.  

  Whether you’re curious about becoming a referee or ready to develop your officiating skills, this event

  offers an opportunity to learn the rules, understand the responsibilities, and gain valuable on-court

  experience.

  Event Schedule

  8:30–9:30 AM | Introductory Class

  • Get an overview of what’s involved in becoming a pickleball referee.
  • Learn about the role and responsibilities of an official.
  • Cost: FREE for everyone!

  9:30 AM–3:00PM | Professional Officiating Training

  • Dive into the details of officiating pickleball games.
  • Build your knowledge and understanding of officiating procedures.
  • 3:00–4:30 PM | On-Court Practice

  Put your learning into practice with 90 minutes of hands-on, on-court experience.

  Registration Fees

  • CAPA members: FREE
  • Pickleball Kingdom members: $10
  • Non-members: $20

  The introductory class is free for all participants, regardless of membership.

  Come learn, build your confidence, and take the next step toward becoming a credentialed pickleball

  referee!
