Kevin McPherson will return as CAPA President for the coming year, joined by Vice President Jim Halberg, after the CAPA Board elected its top two officers Monday, September 28, at its first meeting following the 2026 annual membership meeting.
Prior to this year, when a change to the Bylaws went into effect, those two officers were elected by the general membership for two-year terms in staggered years (odd for President, even for Vice President).
The Board also welcomed two newly elected members, Erin Schettler and Stacy Lenz, succeeding Mark Blitz and former Vice President Shelley Reynolds, who had each reached the end of their maximum three consecutive terms.
Kevin also appointed the following officers for the coming year:

- Communications and Marketing Chair Jimmy Cheffen Jr.
- Events Committee Chair Erin Schettler
- Finance Committee Co-Chairs Tony Greig and Kevin McPherson
- Membership Co-Chairs Kristina Amelong and Weijun Cheng
- Organized Play Chair Stacy Lenz
- Player Development Chair Jim Halberg
- Technical Chair Michael Wedge
